About Me
I am a software developer with a remarkable eye for design and a passion for optimization. Video games and Nvidia were responsible for my nascent interest in tech around ten years ago, but perhaps not in the way you imagine. My first taste of web design began in 2010 when I became the content creator of a website called BGWiki. Originally, I only designed layouts using Photoshop, but I grew impatient. I wanted to see things hit the screen as soon as I designed them, so I learned basic markdown languages and implemented my designs myself. During this time, I also became obsessed with automating tasks since . . . why not? I learned XML to write scripts for a video game plugin. It was so well received that it became the template for other players making their own scripts.
Later, I learned SQL to query logs using Google sheets and organize information into timelines and tables. Impressed by impact of Deep Learning — made possible by Nvidia's architecture, I decided to attend a coding bootcamp in 2019 called App Academy. There, I learned Ruby and Javascript along with an assortment of libraries such as React and Redux and backend frameworks such as Nodejs and Ruby on Rails. I harnessed that knowledge to develop radically different projects -- each with a focus on different skills and objectives. In my free time, I enjoy Duel Links and other gacha games, BuiltWithScience gym routine, building computers, and dev blogs.
